All of our animals were once beloved pets and for one reason or another they have ended up in our care. We are funded entirely from donations from volunteers and supporters and desperately need your help. Please click the links below if you would like to be a part. No donation is too large or too small so get clicking!

What do we do?

We take in animals who need rehoming. We take in all pets from horses to hamsters, who for one reason or another cannot remain where they are. Many are handed in by their owners which is good as we know their history, age, medical problems etc. Some are handed in by members of the public who have found them wandering, we do all we can to find their owners if they are lost but in most cases they have been dumped. We have also taken in animals who have been handed in at local vets.
When each animal arrives, we check them over thoroughly, in most cases we have the animals for a few weeks before rehoming so we can assess their behaviour and really get to know them. We are not a big rescue and don't have kennels or a cattery so the animals live in a family and home environment, and they get to meet lots of different people.
We offer them for rehoming, (or for loan if they are horses)only once we feel they are ready for a new home and where possible we spay and neuter before they go. We homecheck and/or get a vets reference, for all of our potential new homes and we ask for a donation to help towards costs.
Once they have been rehomed we offer rescue backup for life, so if at any point the new home isn't working out or the new owners can no longer keep them then they come back to us, that way we can be sure that the animal is safe for life.
