Jack - Butterfly Fawn Lop / Tom - White Seal-point Lop (August 2003)

Jack was adopted with Tom, in August 2003. Their prospective owners saw Jack's picture on our website and came from the Rhondda that afternoon. They'd just lost their first house-rabbit, so they left the decision for a week. The following weekend they came to pick him up and asked to see the other boarders. Two hours later, they left with Jack and Tom. Both boys, both house-rabbits, they have the run of the house. Early squabbles subsided and now they like to sleep next to each other, under their owners' bed. Myxi joined them in January 2005. In June 2005, Jack dislocated a hip and the vets couldn't reinsert it so they removed the ball joint. A day after the operation, Jack was standing on his hind legs and pulling out the metal staples. He's fully fit and runs and jumps as before. Sadly Jack's new buddy, Myxi, died in August 2006 after a battle with cancer. Jack and Tom have become even closer.

Jack - cheeky, naughty, funny. A real fighter. Tom - A big softy. Adores Jack, and having nose-rubs. A mellow soul. Myxi - Smallest and bossiest, always wants attention. "Here I am. Love me." Three amigos.

1st September 2007: Sadly, Tom, died on September 1st 2007, after being taken to emergency vets. He'd been quiet for a few days and went to the vets on the Friday but deteriorated a few hours later with shudders, trances, and loss of balance. The nurse had just syringe fed him and he was awaiting to come home when he laid down and passed away very quickly and gently. "Our gentle handsome boy"

20th September 2007: Jack, the last of the three amigos has coped with losing his buddy, Tom, but then endured 2.5 hours surgery to remove an ear abscess. He's currently learning to cope with a new ear opening.

Bubbles went to his forever home in 2001. Last news, he had a girlfriend.
Delanie lives in Swansea with her boyfriend, who was rescued by the RSPCA.
Jet lives with several cats for company. She has a run which helps with her weight problem.
Maisie is black and white; Rolo, brown and white. The buns have a double cage and alley at the side of the house. Lilli joined them there.
Minnie and twins. Re-homed in 2002. She gets nasty, if she thinks you're taking her food but her owners love her to bits.
Rosie, went to a vet nurse in 2000. She went to schools on open days 'til 2004, when she passed away, aged ten. She helped educate children on bunny care. Her successors are 2 rex crosses.
