The Fun Bunny Show 2007 fundraiser took place at Killay Scout and Guide HQ on Sunday 28^th January. Entry included free samples, competitions, a free bunny health check for each bun and a talk on rabbit care from our local vet.

The rabbit show attracted eighteen beautifully cared-for and well-loved bunnies. Six rabbits from South Wales Animal Rescue also appeared to raise awareness for the group.

The competitions was judged by representatives from South Wales Animal Rescue and all profits went directly to the group. The categories were: Prettiest Doe; Most Handsome Buck; Fluffiest bunny; Cutest bunny; Friendliest bunny; and Cleverest bunny.

Special mention goes to:

• Larnie - a beautiful white doe who was found abandoned. Her missing eye endeared her to the judges. A real hero and a little fighter, this little girl is enjoying a new life after her poor start

• Molly - An orange Dutch buck, who had been sold as a 'girl' but proved to be a boy. Despite the judges being told of Molly's gender by his owner, confusion during the hectic moments of awarding a winner meant that he was unfortunately judged in the Does' section. Apologies for my bad writing and poor memory.
